Recycling

Why recycle?

Household recycling bins, community bring banks and local Household Waste Recycling Centres. Our message couldn’t be clearer – recycling has never been easier.

Recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources. It generates environmental, financial and social benefits. It keeps precious, usable materials away from landfill or energy recovery.

Our message couldn’t be clearer – recycling has never been easier!

Materials like glass, metal, plastic bottles and paper are collected, separated and sent to facilities that can process them into new materials or products.

Recycle your waste by using your kerbside recycling bins your local council provides, a local bring bank or by taking your materials for recycling to one of 16 Household Waste Recycling Centres across Merseyside and Halton.

Take a look around this website to learn about your options for recycling. Also, see how you can stop materials being wasted in the first place through prevention and reduction.
