The May edition of ‘The Bite’ update from Love Food Hate Waste has a whole host of tips and recipes just in time for National Barbecue Week.
National BBQ Week takes place from 29 May to 4 June which we hope will kick off a long summer of outdoor eating, but a large dollop of realism does no harm. Don’t rush out and buy specialist BBQ food without checking what’s already in the freezer. BBQs are ideal for odd chops, single steaks, chicken portions, a few sausages, and even kebabs made up of even smaller portions of frozen or leftover meats, fish and vegetables. Now all those decisions to freeze rather than throw away those small portions will really pay off!
All the recipes and tips can be fund in @LFHW May’s E-newsletter which can be downloaded here: The Bite – May edition 2017
