Veolia and Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) have announced a new Liverpool Community Forum for waste and recycling and they want to hear from you!
New Community Forums are being established across Merseyside and Halton to help improve services, solve issues and problems and plan for future developments. The first Liverpool Community Forum will be held on 20th August 2014, Time: 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm at Gillmoss RDC, Bridgehouse Lane, Liverpool, L10 5HA.
The new Community Forums will tell residents more about new developments and improvements to sites and services, as well as a chance to have your say and have your questions answered on waste and recycling in Liverpool.
Veolia and MRWA provide recycling and waste services to more than 650,000 households across Merseyside and Halton, operating facilities including, 15 Household Waste and Recycling Centres, 4 Waste Transfer Stations and 2 Materials Recovery Facilities. The Community Forums will be focused on these key areas and will be open and free for anyone to attend.
Cllr Graham Morgan, MRWA Chairperson said: “We’re pleased to be establishing Community Forums across Merseyside and Halton so that residents can have their say on the services we deliver.”
